Oliver Jeffers x Greenpeace
In collaboration with Greenpeace, Oliver designed a t-shirt about his favourite place. Inspired by one of the biggest festivals in the world, Glastonbury, it's a celebration of planet Earth and our need to protect it. Launching in time for World Environment Day 2024, Oliver's t-shirt was proudly worn by festival-goers and Greenpeace supporters alike. This is an ongoing campaign, for more information, and to purchase a t-shirt, visit Greenpeace's shop here.
Considering that this is the only place in the cosmos where people live, which means it is where all the good food is, and where all the music is made, it really is my standout favourite place of all. It's probably most people's, once they think about it. And if they think about it a little more, and realise their actions, their decisions, their stories all have consequences, its probably worth keeping that in mind if we want to be the favourite place of future generations too. It would be a bit selfish to ruin it for them.
– Oliver
Greenpeace believe optimism is a form of courage. That a billion acts of courage can spark a brighter tomorrow. To that end, the organisation model and champion courage, continually sharing stories of brave acts by their supporters and allies, inviting people out of their comfort zones to engage in courageous acts themselves. A green and peaceful future is their quest.
